Ad Infinitum is looking for a driven, strategic and creative Executive Director to join the company from September 2025. Following nearly two decades of artistic excellence, this is an exciting time of growth and transformation for the company as we enter the next chapter of our journey.
The Executive Director will play a key role in driving and delivering the strategic direction of the organisation, whilst diversifying income streams, maximising the organisation’s potential, navigating risk and securing partnerships.
This is an opportunity for an imaginative, resourceful and collaborative arts leader to have a real, measurable impact on the next stage of Ad Infinitum’s development as we continue to adapt, evolve and strengthen our impact.

KEY INFORMATION ABOUT THE ROLE
Salary: £42,162 per annum (£33,729 pro rata)
Contract type: Permanent, part time - 32 hours per week. Some evening and weekend work might be required.
Responsible to: Ad Infinitum Co-Artistic Directors
Pension: NEST pension, employer contributions 3% of salary.
Hours of work: 4 days a week (0.8 FTE) (the organisation’s working hours are 09:30 - 17:30 but we offer flexible working hours and are open to conversations about how the hours could be split across the week). We operate a TOIL system.
Place of work: Remote working. Ad Infinitum is based in Bristol and does not currently have a physical office. Attendance at meetings in central Bristol is required, but we can be flexible with the frequency and pattern and are happy to discuss this with the candidate.
Access: We are committed to creating a more diverse and representative arts sector and will work to provide access support or arrangements that are required for you to undertake this role effectively.
Annual Leave: 22 days plus bank holidays per annum (17.6 days plus 8 bank holidays pro rata). Following two years in the organisation this will come up to 23 days pro rata and following four years of service will come up to 24 days pro rata.

We will aim to shortlist and send invitations to interview by 24 June. First round interviews will be held on Tuesday 1 July. Second round interviews will be held on Tuesday 8 July. We will appoint by 18 July 2025 to start in September 2025 or as soon as possible. If you are successful then we will collect two references after the second round interviews and contact them with your permission.
Interviews will be in-person in Bristol and we will cover reasonable travel expenses for travel from outside of Bristol. Both rounds of interviews will be with a panel made up of team and board members from Ad Infinitum.
