Book a workshop for your students and invite them to dive headfirst into the professional, playful and collaborative environment of an Ad Infinitum rehearsal room. One of our artist practitioners will guide your students through the creative devising process behind all of Ad Infinitum’s productions.
Your students will learn valuable practical skills and techniques, to help them develop and realise their ideas to create their own piece of theatre.
PHYSICAL DEVISING WORKSHOP
Students will take away the practical skills to realise their ideas; analyse and evaluate their process; and confidently create their own devising work.
Using our unique blend of techniques, rooted in the physical pedagogy of Lecoq, students will devise an original piece of theatre from scratch.
Working collaboratively, they'll learn to make collective decisions, disagree and critique constructively. Enriched by different opinions they'll discover each other’s strengths and trust one another to pull it all together, working towards a common goal.
“I’ve never done a workshop like this before! It was brilliant. Are they coming back soon?!”

GESTURAL LANGUAGE WORKSHOP
Students will develop the skills to use their physicality to engage an audience; confidently refine and amend their work; and create their own piece of theatre.
Students will connect with their own physicality, the language of it and all of its storytelling potential, using our unique blend of techniques rooted in the physical pedagogy of Lecoq.
Observing and drawing inspiration from the world around them they'll explore the endless possibilities of a body and an imagination in an empty space. Through gesture and physicality they'll learn how to conjure worlds and characters from thin air.
“Thank you for a fantastic workshop! It was great and the energy in the room was so creative”.

WHAT CAN MY STUDENTS EXPECT FROM AN AD INFINITUM WORKSHOP?
"Ad Infinitum's warm and friendly approach with students comes alongside rigour and high expectations.
They are devoted to passing on their passion for telling stories and make sure that everyone is spellbound in their learning. It really is a delight to work with people so physically aware because this care and attention then becomes infectious".
Phil Tattersall-King, Director of Drama and Dance at Bedales and Chair of the National Independent School's Drama Association
From our collaborative rehearsal rooms to the communities we engage with, our work is socially engaged and political. We bring this discourse to our workshops and will provoke participants to realise their power to make change in their communities and the wider world.
