Alma is a mother searching for her missing daughter, one of the many people who have disappeared without trace in Mexico. Caught between absence and hope, her days become a relentless search for answers. But Alma refuses to give up.
As she looks for her daughter, Alma finds others living through the same nightmare. Families come together, strangers become lifelines and what begins as a solitary struggle grows into a collective act of resistance.
Created by internationally acclaimed, multi-award-winning theatre companies Ad Infinitum (UK) and El Ingenio del Caldero (Mexico), Until I Find You combines fierce, raw physicality with powerful storytelling.
Following its world premiere in Mexico, the production has received multiple awards and nominations, including Best Show, Best One-Person Show, Best Movement, Play of the Year and Best Direction.

Show Development
Until I Find You / Hasta Encontrarte is a new theatre piece from Ad Infinitum and Mexican company El Ingenio del Caldero, examining the disturbing phenomenon of forced disappearances in Mexico. Developed in Ad Infinitum’s signature physical style, this one-woman show unfolds the journey of a mother slowly fading away in a search for her disappeared daughter, and the transformation she undergoes as she learns to live in a state of neverending loss.
Ad Infinitum's Co-Artistic Director Nir Paldi and Mexican performer and theatre maker Vicky Araico Casas co-created and developed the show in Bristol. In September 2024, the creative team travelled to Mexico to rehearse the Spanish-language version and to complete technical rehearsals and previews, working with a fantastic team of creatives from Mexico and the UK to deliver this exciting cross-cultural project.
The show opened to critical acclaim and rave audience reviews, and premiered at Teatro UNAM in Mexico City at the Santa Catarina Theatre, Coyoacán and ran until 24th November 2024. We’re working on plans to tour further in Mexico and in the UK in the future. Watch this space!
This is the fourth creative collaboration between Nir Paldi, Co-Artistic Director for Ad Infinitum and Vicky Araico, director of El Ingenio del Caldero. Previously, they have created multi-award-winning theatre productions exploring different forms of social injustice which have toured extensively to theatres in the UK, Mexico and around the world, including the Fringe First award-winning ‘Juana in a Million’ (2012) and Offie award-winning ‘Bucket List’ (2016).

When someone goes missing and is believed to have been abducted, families must battle against a culture of apathy, victim blaming, and state corruption to get the help they need. In UNTIL I FIND YOU, we hear the stories of searching mothers and sisters, and the people who support them to find their loved ones.
