SARAH KINGSWELL

GENERAL MANAGER & FINANCE

Sarah Kingswell has worked for Theatre Bristol* since 2008 as part of the team that developed the organisation from an Arts Council initiative created in 2005, to becoming an NPO in 2012 – present.

Having trained in Stage Management at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (formally Mountview Theatre School) she worked nationally and internationally as a stage manager in commercial and subsidised theatre, fringe and festivals including for The Royal Court, Theatr Clywd and English Touring Theatre, before taking a break to have a family.

After a stint in the corporate and conference world she took the sideways step into Arts Management working with Myrtle Theatre Company and The National Youth Orchestra before joining Theatre Bristol.

In 2016 Sarah led the Handfuls of Harmony Community Choir’s People’s Millions project; she also works with RISE Youth Dance and is on the Advisory board of Rising Arts Agency.
