ACTRESS / WRITER / FACILITATOR

Selina is an actress, writer and faciltator with over 5 years’ experience of creating and delivering workshops within the corporate and creative field. As a writer, she is compelled to tell stories that explore people’s negative behaviour, with a focus on surrealism, race and women issues, that is often highlighted in a comedic and distinct way. Her latest play in development is set within a care home and challenges the negative perceptions of the older generation as well as looking at the idea of life after death.

She has worked as a creative facilitator with companies such as Catalyst Housing Association, Poplar Union Theatre and The Federation of Entertainment of Unions (FEU) that includes The Writers Guild.  She is passionate about empowering individuals through creativity and has designed innovative workshops for adults and young people focussing on building their self-esteem and confidence to unleash their inner voice.  As a performer, she has performed her own writing including a play called BOILING FROG that highlights how easily a woman can fall into an abusive relationship in Union Theatre London as well as National commercials.
